Schade eigentlich. Darf man fragen warum da nichts geplant ist?

Moin! Gibt es eigentlich eine englische Übersetzung dieser genialen Kampagne? Oder ist eine solche geplant? Ein Freund von mir (des Deutschen nicht mächtig) hat Interesse an Auf den Inseln bekundet und würde die Kampagne gerne für seine Runde leiten, allerdings bräuchte er halt ein englisches Exemplar.

Brief und Foto funktionieren folgenderma?en: Du nimmst ein Foto mit mehreren Personen drauf und entfernst deren Augen aus dem Bild, so das Löcher entstehen. Dann legst du dieses Foto auf ein leeres Blatt Papier und schreibst durch die Augenlöcher hindurch je einen Buchstaben von deiner geheimen Nachricht - ganz normal von links nach rechts und von oben nach unten. Wenn dir die Augenlöcher ausgehen wird das Bild einfach weiter unten erneut aufgelegt. Danach schreibst du auf den selben Zettel einfach den Brief, wobei du die zuvor geschriebenen Buchstaben selbstverständlich irgendwie in den flie?enden Text einbaust. Schon sind die Buchstaben nicht mehr als etwas Besonderes zu erkennen! Um das Anlegen des Fotos etwas zu erleichtern kann man innerhalb des Briefes auch noch eine Auflegemarkierung verstecken... Zum Beispiel könnte man das Bild unterhalb jeder Zeile, die mit "A" beginnt, anlegen. Oder man streut hier und da ein "T" mit einem übergro?en Querstrich ein, welcher als Anlegepunkt dient. Einfach, aber effektiv. (Und wenn man richtig gemein ist, dann nimmt man im Brief auf das Foto Bezug und legt das Foto mit in den Briefumschlag - allerdings als unbeschädigten Abzug! Auf die Art haben die Spieler zwar Nachricht und Schlüssel, aber beides ist getarnt. So habe ich mal meine Spieler beschäftigt, als sie einen Brief eines Kultisten abgefangen hatten... 8) )

Wenn es zum Abenteuer passt und die Spieler damit keine Probleme haben, dann kann auch ein Schädelknochen sehr reizvoll sein. (Mal so aus Interesse: Wo kriegt man so etwas her?) Ansonsten: - ein (alter) Teddybär (wenn der auch noch eine lose Naht hat, dann kann man darin sogar noch etwas verstecken!!) - ein Schmuckstück (Ring, Amulett, Armreif, evtl. widernatürlicher Herkunft...) - ein Gruppenfoto mit wenigstens 6 Personen, wobei allen Personen die Augen rausgeschnitten / rausgebrannt wurden... - ...und dazu passend irgendwo anders in der Truhe ein wenigstens 2 Seiten langer Brief, bei dem sich durch Auflegen des Fotos eine geheime Nachricht offenbart!! (Das habe ich mal eingesetzt: Gruppenfoto von ein paar Soldaten und ein Liebesbrief - hat herrlich funktioniert!) - ein (oder mehrere) Schlüssel (die vielleicht noch wichtig sind?) - Und natürlich der allseits beliebte Gepäckaufbewahrungsschein... So, genug für heute. Morgen gibt es noch mehr...

Och, da gibt es so viele Möglichkeiten: - eine Taschenuhr (zu einem wichtigen Zeitpunkt stehengeblieben) - ein Lederbeutel mit Tabak / Tee (symbolhaft für z.B. eine Zauberzutat) - ein paar Zähne (evtl. die eigenen Milch- oder Weisheitszähne, wenn du sie aufbewahrt hast!) - ein paar alte Zeichnungen oder Fotographien - irgend etwas, das zwar merkwürdig aussieht, aber überhaupt nichts mit dem Abenteuer zu tun hat (ein roter Hering also) - eine Papiertüte voller Erde / Sand / kleiner Steine - ein falscher Ausweis (z.B. von den Props der HPLHS) - ein paar Münzen oder Scheine einer fremdländischen Währung (wenn du so etwas rumliegen hast - je exotischer, desto besser...) Und so weiter, und so fort...

Ich ehrlich gesagt auch. Aus dem Manuskript kann man deutlich mehr machen... Nur ca. 6 - 14 Seiten? OK, da? stellt überhaupt kein Problem dar. Wird erledigt und per Mail zugeschickt. 8) (Sofern du mir deine Mail-Adresse per PN mitteilst...)

Ja, aber leider nicht viele. Allerdings kenne ich ein paar Websites, die neben nützlichen Infos auch das eine oder andere Farbbild präsentieren, Da wären z.B. World Mysteries (auch gut für andere schöne Abenteuerideen) undThe Voynich Manuscript. Au?erdem habe ich vor einiger Zeit mal einen PDF-Download im Netz gefunden, der das gesamte Manuskript in Farbe beinhaltet. Leider kann ich die Seite nicht wiederfinden und da die Datei nicht gerade klein ist wird's mit dem verschicken per Mail wohl leider auch nichts... Andererseits... Wenn ich jede einzelne Seite als Grafik rauskopiere und speichere... Musst du es unbedingt haben?

?hm, das Voynich-Manuskript steht doch im Necronomicon schon drin!? Auf Seite 70. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es natürlich ein cooler Aufhänger für ein Abenteuer (oder sogar eine Mini-Kampagne). Ich selber habe mir gerade dieses Buch gekauft, um das Manuskript in meine 1890 spielende Kampagne besser einbauen zu können. 1890? Da war das manuskript doch noch gar nicht entdeckt?! Eben! Das macht die Sache ja gleich noch einmal viel spannender!

Da gebe ich dir vollauf recht. Es ging mir mit der Liste aber auch weniger darum, Musik der ?ra aufzuzeigen, die zum (cthulhuiden) Spiel passt, sondern vielmehr darum, was während der Zeit die gro?en Hits waren - also die realen Dauerbrenner, die im Radio hoch und runter gespielt wurden. Eine Aussage zu der Qualität der enthaltenen Stücke ist hierbei nicht meine Intention... 8)

Parks und Seen wären auch sehr schön. Und wo Henry Fox gerade gro?e Gebäude anspricht: Kirche / Kathedralen / Kloster, Universitäten und Museen (gerade für Cthulhu auch nicht uninteressant!). Auch wären natürliche Begrenzungen der Stadt sehr schick, etwa eine Küstenlinie, eine Klippe / ein Berg, u.ä. Und eine Option für eine Stadtmauer wäre auch sehr reizvoll - entweder intakt und die gesamte Stadt umschlie?end, oder nur um den Stadtkern, oder nur noch Bruchstückhaft vorhanden...

Ja, den Orient-Express wollte ich eh für dieses Unternehmen benutzen, zumal ich die komplette Kampagne schon hier rumliegen habe... Theoretisch sollte ich jetzt mit "London - Im Nebel der Themse", der Orient-Express Kampagne und der ?gypten-Box für alle Schandtaten seitens der Spieler gerüstet sein - wobei es mich ein wenig wurmt, das mir der Wales-Band fehlt...

Na das hilft mir doch wenigstens etwas weiter. Und da ich tatsächlich über eine recht günstige Box gestolpert bin... Sagen wir mal: ?gypten, wir kommen!
