Friedberg, 3rd June 2016: From 3rd to 5th June 2016 the UK Games Expo takes place in the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham. Pegasus Spiele will present the children’s game Piratissimo at booth A4 in NEC Hall 1 and bring along big versions of the family games Camel Up (Spiel des Jahres 2014/Game of the Year 2014) and Yeti. A big version of Mmm!, which has been recently nominated for the Kinderspiel des Jahres 2016/Children Game of the Year 2016, can also be played at the booth. There will also be a first preview of the English version of the cooperative board game The Dwarves and the card game The Dwarves – The Duel. Together with close partners Steve Jackson Games and eggertspiele Pegasus Spiele will bring much fun to the UK.Along with its first own children’s game Mmm! (5+), which has been recently nominated for the most important award Kinderspiel des Jahres 2016/Children Game of the Year 2016, Pegasus Spiele will release the children’s game Piratissimo (6+). In this redesigned title, which has been formerly published by Selecta, players sail the South Seas in search for treasures. But the journey is not without danger as greediness, bad weather and of course the other pirates will mix things up for sure. Piratissimo is an exciting roll-and-move adventure for 2 to 4 ambitious swashbucklers. Pegasus Spiele will also show the English versions of the re-released titles Bouncing Bunnies (3+), Zoowaboo (5+), Viva Topo and The Ladybugs’ Costume Party (both 4+ and winners of the German game award for children’s games Kinderspiel des Jahres).After a very successful Kickstarter campaign, the release of the English version of the cooperative fantasy board games The Dwarves is in sight. At the UK Games Expo visitors can get involved in the fantastic world of Markus Heitz famous bestselling novel series by playing a thrilling preview session. Two to five players take the roles of dwarven heroes to save Girdlegard together by completing tasks, fighting the evil forces and influencing the Dwarven Council. The Saga Edition contains improved gaming material and new gaming components. Samples of the new, improved figures are shown at the UK Games Expo. Along with the board game there will be an English version of the The Dwarves – The Duel which is in production. In this quick and exciting game two players can fight the final battle between the forces of good and evil. Besides these exciting releases and previews, visitors can also have a look at Mega Civilization, which has already made the headlines at SPIEL’15. It contains up to 12 hours of strategy with 5 to 18 players, over 2.000 tokens and 1.500 cards and one game board which is 2 meters long. Family gamers will enjoy Yeti and Animals on Board which have been released recently. These and many other games can be played at the Pegasus Spiele booth – so plenty of fun is guaranteed.
