es gibt in Berlin nach längerer Zeit wieder eine Veranstaltung zu H.P. Lovecraft!

Der amerikanische Kultautor Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890 û 1937) ist der Begründer des Kosmischen Horrors: Er lässt die üblichen Gespenster und Blutsauger hinter sich, bei ihm kommt der Schrecken vielmehr aus den Tiefen des Weltalls. Sein berühmtestes au?erirdisches Monster ist Cthulhu û sozusagen der Vorläufer von Alien û und inzwischen Beherrscher eines eigenen Rollenspiel-Universums. Aber Lovecraft hat auch noch andere Gruseleffekte auf Lager ...

Lesung dreier seiner Kurzgeschichten mit Lichtbildern & Musik im CafÚ

 

Ab 20:15: Diashow äCthulhu-Maniaô und drei gelungene Verfilmungen seiner Erzählungen im Saal:

20:30: Der Ruf des Cthulhu (USA, 2005)

21:30: Die Farbe (Deutschland, 2010)

23:00: Dagon (USA, 2001)

 

Für Cthulhu-Kultisten gibtÆs am Bücher- und Merchandising-Stand noch Interessantes zu entdecken. Diese lange Nacht sollte sich kein Lovecraft-Fan entgehen lassen!

 

Eine nicht-kommerzielle Veranstaltung des Soldiner Kiez e.V. in Zusammenarbeit mit der Nachbarschaftsetage Fabrik Osloer Str. und der Buchhandlung Otherland in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

 

Der Eintritt ist frei, Spenden sind erwünscht.

Ja, ich veranstalte das.

 

Ich bin schon seit Jahren Lovecraft-Fan und au?erdem im Vorstand vom Soldiner Kiez e.V..

Der Soldiner Kiez ist ein Quartiersmanagementgebiet im Wedding, wo viele unterprivilegierte Menschen,

aber auch zunehmend Studenten und Künstler leben.

 

Ich mache seit 2009 für die Bewohner/innen des Kiezes ein kleines Kulturprogramm.

Dazu gehören auch Lesungen, die ich zusammen mit ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeitern aus dem Umfeld des Soldiner Kiez e.V.s durchführe.

Schon lange hatte ich den Wunsch, in diesem Rahmen einen meiner Lieblingsautoren, H.P. Lovecraft vorzustellen.

So kam die Idee zur Langen H.P.-Lovecraft-Nacht.

 

Eine Lesung zu E.A. Poe hatten wir schon in 2010.

 

Die Nachbarschaftetage Fabrik Osloer Str. ist der Veranstaltungsort, die Buchhandlung Otherland aus Kreuzberg wird einen Büchertisch machen.

Ich selbst habe noch Artikel für den Merchandising-Stand zusammengesucht, z.T. sehr interessante Sachen. :]

 

Für das nächste Jahr plane ich eine Lesung mit Texten von Clark Ashton Smith.

Dazu zeige ich Lichtbilder seiner Bilder und Skulpturen zu Musik.

 

Da ich wei?, dass es berlinweit Lovecraft-Fans gibt, wollte ich die Lange H.P. Lovecraft-Nacht auch in den entsprechenden Kreisen bekannt machen.

 

In diesem Rahmen habe ich erst vor Kurzem Kontakt zur "Cthulhu-Szene" in Berlin aufgenommen.

?ber diese Website und den Stammtisch, vom Chtulhoiden Salon wu?te ich gar nichts.

Ich sehe, Ihr habt ja auch schon "Die Farbe" und "The Call of Cthulhu" vorgeführt.

Nun - wer es beide Male verpa?t hat oder nochmal sehen will, ist dann auf meiner Veranstaltung richtig. :]

Sowas könnte ich mir in meiner Stadt auch einmal vorstellen. Das klingt nach einer super Idee und ich bin am Wochenende sehr wahrscheinlich in Berlin, ich schau mir das mal an.
