Somerset Hauptstrasse West-England Montag, der 16.07.1928 Ihr folgt dem Automobil durch die Grafschaft Somerset. In der Stadt Bridgwater hält der Rolls kurz zum Tanken an, um dann seine Fahrt Richtung Westen fortzusetzen. Der Fahrer benutzt die Hauptstrasse der Ost-West-Tangente, fährt eine durchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit und macht sich anscheinend keine Sorgen darüber, ob sein Wagen von Euch verfolgt wird. Die Fahrt geht weiter Richtung Westen; ins Taunton-Deane-Tal. Als der Wagen an Dir vorbei gefahren ist, hält er mit quietschenden Reifen an. Der Kofferraumdeckel springt auf. Und Du siehst einen Mann mit Maschinenpistole, der sofort das Feuer auf Dich und den Wagen eröffnet.

Das Automobil beschleunigt... wird schneller... Der Fahrer macht anscheinend keine Anstalten das Fahrzeug anzuhalten. Das Fahrzeug hält aber genügen Abstand zum Seitenstreifen, um Dich dort nicht zu gefährden. Auch vorbei an dem dunkelblauen, stehenden Rolls, dessen Insassen offenbar eine Entscheidung getroffen haben. Zumindest scheint die Diskussion beendet und das Automobil setzt sich wieder langsam in Bewegung.

Die Männer im Fahrzeug reagieren nicht auf Dich. Vermutlich sind sie zu abgelenkt. Aber mit Sicherheit sind sie auch zu weit weg, um Deine Rufe zu verstehen. Mittlerweile ist eine Sirene zu hören. Der Stau am Unfallort löst sich auch auf. Nur die beiden ersten Personenwagen bleiben an Ort und Stelle. Die anderen Fahrer setzen ihre Fahrt fort.

Der Rolls nähert sich langsam, nachdem er die abgestellten Fahrzeuge des Staus überholt hat. Offensichtlich hatten Euch die Männer vorher auch bereits gesehen. Der Wagen hält nach kurzer Fahrt - etwa 100 Meter vor Euch. Niemand steigt jedoch aus. Stattdessen scheint es im Innern des Automobils eine Diskussion zu geben.

Ihr werdet denen entgegen fahren, wenn Ihr Gas gebt.

Matilde sieht, dass sich der Blaue Rolls aus der anderen Richtung (von vorne, aus der Fahrtrichtung) nähert. Matilde hat, obwohl sie das nicht zugeben kann und will, schlimme Gewissensbisse, die sie plagen...

Ist lieb von Dir, dass Du das jetzt gleich auf Dich beziehst und das ausräumen willst, Joran. Das spricht mal wieder für Dich. Es hat aber überhaupt nichts mit Dir zu tun. Die zwei Situationen liegen länger zurück. Aber ich habe hier schon manche sinnfreie Diskussion geführt und so mache Stunden im Netz für das Forum recherchiert... Die Leute auf dem Feld stehen um einen Körper herum, der zusammengekrümmt, reglos am Boden liegt.
