Schließlich mir neu: Shadowrun: Anarchy, eine Version des Grundregelwerks mit weniger Regeln zur Unterstützung von Erzählspiel:

 

Catalyst also plans to release a light mechanic, storytelling-heavy version of the Shadowrun rulebook called Shadowrun: Anarchy. “The idea is if anyone wants to try Shadowrun but they don’t want to really look at a 400-page rulebook, this is a 40 - 50-page rule book,” Coleman explained. “A very light version. It’s storytelling and very light roleplaying.” Release is planned for Gen Con, and tentative MSRP is $25.00.

The Shadowrun universe will enter a deeper involvement with the metaplanes and the Seelie [Faerie] Court with the 78-card Tarot Deck, which will be illustrated by Echo Chernik. A player’s aid, the Court of Shadows book will also be available. Both will release in Q3.

Klingt so, aber wohl eher was die Ausrichtung angeht, nicht als direkt verknüpfte Produkte. Vielleicht wollen sie ein Kartensystem einführen, wie das schon enige Indiespiele machen, oder so etwas?

Außerdem wird der neue Roman von Jason Hardy (siehe Beitrag:Jason Hardy), Undershadows, ab 25. Mai verfügbar sein. Ich vermute mal auch im Ebook-Format. Market Panic ist dann auch als Printausgabe raus. (via Shadowrun-Tumblrblog).

Kurz die neuen Informationen:

 

  • Howling Shadows soll zur Origins (Mitte Juni) im Print erscheinen, weshalb die Veröffentlichung als Ebook bald zu erwarten ist.
  • Zu Shadowrun Anarchy: Kleineres Format (6x9) mit 200 Seiten, davon die Hälfte auf Charaktere und Plots konzentriert. Regelanteil höchstens 25-35%.
  • Zu Court of Shadows: Wie erwartet starker Magiefokus, Kampagnen in den Metaebenen.
  • 2017 neues Quellenbuch für erweiterte Magieregeln und -konzepte (Zusammenhang mit Court of Shadows und den Tarotkarten).

Origins 2016 - looking to have Market Panic on hand and hoping to have (early) copies of the Seattle Sprawl boxed set and Howling Shadows (which means we should see the digital release of HS very soon :)))

 

Shadowrun: Anarchy - a rules-lite approach to SR; smaller sized book (6x9) with ~200 pages. Approx 100 pages will be focused on characters and plot lines; rules should not be much more that 25-35%. Note that this is NOT a part of 5th edition...it represents an alternate way to play Shadowrun and gives people new options to consider. One of the design goals is to make "transferring" characters for SR6 to Anarchy fairly straightforward...this will allow them to use existing plot sourcebooks, campaign books, and adventures in their games.

 

Court of Shadows - this is going to give players a chance for long runs in the metaplanes around the Seelie Court to dive into the intrigue there. This gives us a chance to present a more high-fantasy, magic-focused setting with a Shadowrun twist. Intrigue, espionage, and the like will be emphasized over full-on combat, and there are some VERY imaginative minds working on ways to translate Shadowrun skills into this setting. :D

 

Moving back to SR5, the second Denver adventure will be coming before long, and the Deep Shadows book called Cutting Aces, focusing on con jobs, is coming in the fall.

 

SR Legends - the issues with getting the novels prepped for release have been sorted and you should expect to see that as part of the regular "Legends Tuesday"

 

Finally, with the tarot deck being developed and the Court of Shadows books, it's creating some new, interesting ways to play with magic, so look for an advanced magic sourcebook in 2017.
